Terms and conditions are a MUST for both the seller and the buyer. When terms are properly stated there can be no margin for any discrepancies. They protect not only the seller but the buyer in all transactions. We have listed our terms and hope that you will take the time to read them, carefully, so that there will be no misunderstandings when and if you should decide to purchase from us.

1. We use the United States Postal Service (USPS) and UPS as our shipping agent. When shipping large items we use CCX.  ALL packages and furniture are insured for the purchase price with NO exception. WE WILL NOT ship without insurance regardless of the price of the item. If we underestimate the shipping cost we absorb the difference.  BUYER is responsible for postage and insurance costs unless otherwise stated. This is pertinent to both Ebay auctions and our web site.

2. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING charges apply to all non USA shipments.

3. ALL payments must be, received by us, within 10 days of the order and/or auction end date. We accept PayPal, PERSONAL CHECKS, CASHIER'S CHECKS AND MONEY ORDERS. Personal check requires a 10 day business hold on the merchandise and credit card, money order and/or cashier's check purchases will be shipped next ship date.  We ship on Tuesdays and Fridays only. All purchases MUST be paid for in US funds only.

4. We cannot and will not tolerate returned checks for any reason. There will be a $50.00 return check fee added to the amount of the check.

5. Returns MUST be in our possession no later than 14 days after you receive the item AND with our prior knowledge that it is being returned. We reserve the right not to refund if we feel the item was accurately described and/or the 14 day return policy has expired. Promptness on a return is mandatory and there will be NO exception to the 14 day turn-a-round policy.

6. We DO NOT charge a restocking fee but we will not refund initial or return postage fees. We will also deduct any and all Ebay fees which includes listing fee and commission REGARDLESS of the circumstances. When we have authorized what few returns we have had, we have found, upon their arrival, that they were due to what we call "buyer's remorse" and that there was actually NOT a problem with the item at all. Therefore compensation, for Ebay fees, lies with the buyer not the seller. We WILL NOT accept any items that are returned and not insured. They will be returned to sender.

7. If your package is not received within one week of the shipping date we ask that you contact us at that time. If you notify us AFTER that time frame we cannot be responsible for the search or refund of that item.

8. We are not responsible for a broken or damaged item during shipment. We will be glad to assist you with the appropriate USPS or UPS forms required for reimbursement. These are USPS and UPS rules, not ours. This is the reason we require insurance on ALL  of our shipments.

9. Mile-A-Way Antiques, Denise Munroe and any associates are not responsible for any use or misuse and/or injury or damage caused by the purchase of any items from the above mentioned.
